Market reaction to RBA’s cash rate decision was ‘astonishing’


Sky News Business Editor Ross Greenwood says the market reaction to the RBA’s decision to lift interest rates for the sixth consecutive month was “astonishing”.

The Reserve Bank lifted the official cash rate by 25 basis points to 2.60 per cent on Tuesday.

“It was a surprise, there is no doubt,” Mr Greenwood told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
